Produced from Originals: |
|
|
All manuals and sales brochures are produced
from our library of original literature. Many of the manuals found
elsewhere are 3rd or 4th generation (copies of copies).

Scanned
(not copied): |
|
|
We
scan our literature at either enhanced 300 or 600 dpi, a slow process that produces a superior product. Many of the scanned
manuals that are being offered on the internet are done at 150 dpi. |

Digital
Restoration: |
|
|
Extraneous handwriting, smudges, stains and
discoloration are digitally removed from each page. Photos are
optimized, text is leveled and faded backgrounds are repaired. You
will never see shadows, creases, images of holes or staples on any of
our pages. This process allows us to create a reproduction that is
superior to the original in many cases. |

Paper
and Binding: |
|
|
28 lb / 96 brightness paper is used for the body and heavyweight
cardstock for the covers (as was done with most originals). A plastic
binder neatly attaches all pages together. All literature is shipped
in a clear plastic bag for storage. |

Printing: |
|
|
Manuals are scanned in grayscale and printed with a color laser
printer at 1200 dpi x 600 dpi. Selected pages are printed in color. |
